Consolidating and protecting physical and virtual SQL servers is a problem to many organizations. SQL server virtualization is one answer to the problem but not always it is done in the optimum way. The Enterprise manages to provide a capability for storage that is “resource governor” which means that it allows efficient management for each instance on a shared storage resource. This is a big step for the SQL server virtualization.
